macDNIe establishes the CWA-14890 secure channel with the card and exposes the certificates to the system.
No servers, no telemetry, no identifiers
The card is read locally over PC/SC and everything is processed on device.
Anyone in Spain with a DNIe and a Mac: filing with the Agencia Tributaria, signing with the Seguridad Social, submitting to a regional administration, or signing a contract that has to hold up legally.
The interface ships in the four co-official languages of Spain — español, català, euskara and galego. macdnie.com is published in Spanish and English.
macOS 13 or later on Intel or Apple Silicon, plus a USB contact smart-card reader (CCID class).
Coming soon to the Mac App Store — the app is currently in review. Pricing is €10/year as an in-app purchase, or €150 for a lifetime licence. A direct-download edition is planned for Firefox users.
